Stephan shared that his journey of faith began with a simple but profound decision that he wanted God in his life, even though he did not fully understand what that meant at the time. As he took that commitment seriously, his entire worldview began to change. He came to believe that if he was going to devote his whole life—his purpose, work, time, and resources—to God, he had to trust that God is both a promise maker and a promise keeper. Stephan explained that this conviction shaped how he lives and leads, seeing himself as an ambassador of God on earth and emphasizing the importance of living with integrity in every area of life.

Ministry Highlight, Grace Place School
Bill Yeargin shared how the story of Correct Craft was shaped by deep convictions around integrity, culture, and faith-driven leadership. Through historical examples from the company, he showed that values were not just words on paper, but principles that guided costly decisions. He described how the company refused to compromise its commitment to honoring Sundays during World War II, yet still fulfilled a major military contract, and how years later it chose to repay debts over two decades after bankruptcy because it believed in honoring its obligations. These stories illustrated that integrity often required sacrifice, but also built a lasting foundation for trust and credibility.
He also reflected on his own leadership journey as CEO, explaining that one of the most important turning points at Correct Craft came when he intentionally focused on rebuilding culture. Rather than leading with a rewards mindset, he challenged the company to pursue impact by using its platform for good, investing in people, and creating opportunities to serve others. Bill emphasized that culture was not built merely through words, but through consistent action, visible leadership, and genuine care for employees and communities. His keynote highlighted that when leaders authentically chose impact, modeled their values, and invested in their teams, both people and organizations flourished.

Keynote Speaker, Michele Assad
Bill Mitchell introduced the class to Convene, a peer-to-peer advisory community that connects Christian leaders who want to pursue business excellence while integrating their faith in the marketplace. Convene teams are led by experienced Chairs and bring together leaders in confidential groups where they can process real challenges, receive counsel from trusted peers, and grow both personally and professionally. Bill explained that Convene serves a variety of leaders—including CEOs and business owners, C-suite and senior executives, key leaders with significant influence and responsibility, and nonprofit leaders—each with teams designed to support their unique leadership context.
To give participants a glimpse of the Convene experience, Bill guided the room through a short advisory exercise. Each table selected a real leadership challenge from one participant and worked through the process of asking clarifying questions, offering biblical encouragement, and sharing practical recommendations. The exercise demonstrated how Convene creates a trusted environment where leaders can bring real issues, receive honest counsel, and gain wisdom, accountability, and encouragement from others committed to faith-driven leadership.

Case Study, Rob Kornahrens
Andy Fernandez shared the story behind Firewall Centers, a South Florida nonprofit that provides daily after-school tutoring, mentoring, and character development for students in underserved communities. After witnessing the tragic overdose of a 13-year-old girl in his neighborhood, Andy felt a clear call from God to step in and help change the trajectory of young lives. Today, Firewall partners with public schools to support thousands of students each day through academic tutoring, mentorship, leadership development, and life skills, helping them break cycles of poverty and reach their God-given potential.
